INTRODUCTION

At Converse, operated by BetterStacks India Pvt. Ltd, we take the security of your business data seriously. This page describes the measures we use to protect the information you store and process through our platform — including contacts, call logs, tasks, and team collaboration data.

Security is an ongoing commitment. We continuously review and improve our practices to keep your data safe as our platform evolves.

DATA ENCRYPTION

We use industry-standard encryption to protect data in transit and at rest. All communication between your devices and our servers is encrypted using TLS (Transport Layer Security). Sensitive data stored on our systems is encrypted to prevent unauthorized access.

We do not store credit or debit card details directly. Payment processing is handled by third-party payment providers who maintain their own security and compliance standards.

ACCESS CONTROLS

Converse provides role-based access controls so that team members only see the data they need to do their work. Account owners and administrators can manage permissions and revoke access when team members leave.

We follow secure development practices and restrict internal access to production systems on a need-to-know basis.

VULNERABILITY REPORTING

We encourage responsible security researchers to report potential vulnerabilities. If you believe you have found a security issue, please contact us at tanay@converse.so before conducting any testing. Written approval is required before attempting to probe or breach our systems.

If you discover a vulnerability, you must report all relevant details to us promptly. We will acknowledge your report and work to address confirmed issues as quickly as possible.

INCIDENT RESPONSE

In the event of a security incident that affects your data, we will investigate promptly, take steps to contain and remediate the issue, and notify affected users as required by applicable law.

DATA RETENTION

When you delete your account, we remove your personal data in accordance with our data deletion process. Certain information may be retained for limited periods where required by law or for legitimate business purposes — for example, billing records retained for tax compliance, or anonymized usage data used for product improvement.
